Embrace Church is a young, growing Assemblies of God church in New Caney, Texas. We're full of families—many with young kids—and we're built around a simple idea: church should feel like home.
Our vision
To Embrace people, Lead them to Jesus, and Equip them to make a lasting impact in the world.
This community means everything to us, and we believe God is doing amazing things through the people at Embrace Church. We'd love for you to be part of it.

Lead Pastors
Pastors Greg and Brandy came to Embrace in April 2023, bringing with them a ministry journey that began in 2003 when they stepped into full-time service as youth pastors at a local church and later served as lead pastors for over 15 years in Texas and Indiana. Together they now serve as lead pastors at Embrace Church, leading with a simple conviction that church should feel like home and sharing messages that are easy to follow, grounded in Scripture, and aimed at everyday life. They are excited to be back in the New Caney area, very team oriented, anticipating what Embrace will become, and grateful to have been happily married for over 30 years.
Worship Director
Shelby Brown serves as Worship Director at Embrace Church, where she is passionate about creating Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship environments that help people encounter God together. She leads and develops the worship team, shepherding volunteers both musically and spiritually so they can serve the church with excellence and humility. Shelby’s heart is to see people of all backgrounds drawn into authentic praise, leaving each gathering encouraged, refreshed, and more in love with Jesus.
Next-Gen Directors
Dylan and Alexis Poindexter serve together as the Next Gen Directors at Embrace Church, leading Embrace Next Gen, our ministry for 6th through 12th grade students. They are passionate about creating a space where students feel known, can ask hard questions, and grow in their faith alongside friends and leaders who genuinely care about them. Dylan and Alexis love investing in the next generation and helping students discover who they are in Christ and the purpose God has for their lives.
